As a result, he secured the No. 69 spot in the NFL Top 100 Players of 2026. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback scored 4,172 passing yards, 41 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions in 17 games. He also rushed for 915 yards and 4 touchdowns. He achieved a 119.6 passer rating and a 66.7 completion percentage in 2024. As opposed to a 103.8 passer rating and a 63.5 completion percentage in 2025. There is a clear demarcation between why Lamar Jackson secured the No. 2 spot in 2024 and why he stands at the No. 69 spot in 2025. Yet, some Ravens fans fail to believe this.Ravens QB Lamar Jackson falls from the 2025 NFL Top 100 No 2 spot to the 2026 NFL Top 100 No 69 spotWhen Bleacher Report posted the NFL Top 100 2025/26 spots comparison of Lamar Jackson on X with a question: “Do you agree?” Ravens fans flooded the post with more than 400 comments.“67 spot is wild for a former MVP, what’s the actual excuse this time?” enquired one user.“That’s one of the biggest ranking drops I’ve ever seen,” expressed another. One took a brutal dig at the former Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh [who is now with the New York Giants]: “Feel bad for this guy, it took the front office f*gs to finally get rid of that choking a*s f*g coach who pretty much killed this dude’s legs. He will not be the same. Thanks to that f*ck*ng clown coach.”While one called the 67-spot drop “extremely disrespectful,” another said, “This is ridiculous, and I’m not even a Ravens fan. Everyone knows he should be higher.”A post read, “A 67-spot drop is wild, but rankings should reflect performance, not reputation.”A user challenged, “What the f*ck who ranks these lists? I can name 60 players he was better than this season.”Several cybercitizens were shocked, but some blamed the injuries and agreed with the No. 69 spot.Lamar Jackson has not shown his performance in 2025 NFL season“Maybe they factored in he [Lamar Jackson]’s actually retarded and quits on his team and can’t throw,” a brutally honest user wrote.A user wants Jackson to take the rank in good stride: “Agree. He has not shown his performance last season. Hopefully this will change and back to the playoff run. Still a fan of him and believe in him. So, he put himself No. 1.”A user said the rank was dropped because of the injuries: “Hell, nah! When you get injured, at times you drop though.”A user taunted, “That’s what happens when you get injured 5 times per season.” Lamar Jackson appeared on the injury report for six consecutive wintersFox Sports 1’s First Things First host Nick Wright said in Dec. 2025 that Lamar Jackson has been the only franchise quarterback to get sick every winter and appear on the injury report. It has happened for six winters. “He’s the only franchise quarterback in the league that the team seems to have no line on his week-to-week, day-to-day health status,” Nick Wright said.“He’s the only franchise quarterback in this league that we expect every winter to get sick, and have it show up on an injury report. It’s been six winters in a row that this has happened. And the only one that it didn’t was when he missed winter with an injury.”“It’s weird,” Wright said. “There’s a lot of stuff about this stage Lamar Jackson that flags as odd, given his stature in the league, his stature with the team, and how good a player he is.” “You hold your face of the franchise star player to a high standard, and I think this is one area where Lamar is lacking. And I don’t think that’s unfair,” Wright added.
