A Russian drone attacked a civilian vehicle in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, killing the driver.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported the incident on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"According to the investigation, in the evening of July 14, on the Zolochiv–Maksymivka road near the village of Berezivka in the Bohodukhiv district, a Russian UAV, preliminarily identified as a Molniya-type drone, struck a civilian Peugeot vehicle," the statement said.

The 61-year-old driver was killed in the attack.

Under the procedural supervision of the Bohodukhiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime resulting in a person's death (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
