A Russian attack on the port infrastructure of Ukraine's Odesa region struck a civilian vessel flying the Marshall Islands flag, killing two people.
Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"This evening, the enemy launched another strike on Odesa region's port infrastructure. During the attack, an enemy drone hit a civilian vessel flying the Marshall Islands flag, damaging the ship's superstructure. A fire broke out on board. Regrettably, two people were killed in the attack," Kiper said.
Kiper stressed that Russia continues to deliberately target civilians and civilian infrastructure, in blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
