Late last year, I found myself talking a lot about what it would take for biotech’s budding rally to become a full one. We had deals, good pipeline readouts and a rising public stock market, but one thing was missing — IPOs.
After more than a dozen biotech startups have gone public this year, that piece is locked in.
On Wednesday, July 15 at 12 p.m. ET, I’ll be speaking with two CEOs who recently took their companies public, as well as our own IPO reporter Kyle LaHucik, about what’s driving the steady flow of new offerings, how it’s different from the false starts of 2024 and 2025, and how much further the rally has to run.

Parabilis CEO Mathai Mammen and Kailera CEO Ron Renaud will give us an inside look at what it was like to take their companies public. We’ll also talk about life as a public company, and how it’s different from running a startup. And I’ll ask Mathai and Ron about how we’ll know when the run of market success might be coming to an end — and what they’ll need to do to prepare.
