He joined West Brom from Orlando in 2022 for a fee worth near $10 million.The 26-year-old has 10 caps for the U.S. national team, but none since 2023.Dike’s time at West Brom was promising, but ultimately derailed by injury. He missed the majority of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. This year he played 719 minutes spread across 24 matches, scoring twice. His debut season with West Brom, he had seven goals in around 1,200 minutes. He scored 10 goals in 1,326 minutes in his final Orlando season in 2021.It’s a busy summer for Orlando, which has welcomed French star and 2018 World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann to the team. The club just traded forward Duncan McGuire to the Houston Dynamo, while Martin Ojeda remains a star player in the attack.Designate player and winger Marco Pasalic has interest abroad, but a rumor suggesting a deal was set with Hull City is premature.
