Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Tuesday, July 14, that Israel would respond with “far more powerful” strikes if Tehran launched another attack on Israeli territory.

Speaking during a visit to the city of Dimona on Monday, Netanyahu said Israel was prepared for every possible scenario. Addressing Iran’s leadership directly, he warned that Tehran should not expect calm if it chose to attack, nor should it assume that Israel’s response would simply resemble previous military exchanges.

The Israeli Prime Minister said that while Israel’s earlier response had already been significant, any fresh attempt to harm the country would be met with a fundamentally different and much stronger reaction. He added that the era in which Israel could be attacked without those responsible paying a heavy price was over.

Netanyahu said this resolve had already been demonstrated against Iran’s “axis of evil” and would continue to guide Israel’s response to anyone threatening the country.

His remarks come after a military confrontation on June 7, 2026, when Israel struck petrochemical facilities in southwestern Iran in retaliation for a large Iranian missile barrage.
