To support, identify and bolster the next generation of creative talents, the Istituto Marangoni Riyadh has launched its new “Made for Fashion” talent contest.

The program was created for candidates who are applying for three-year Advanced Diploma programs alongside one-year and 16-week courses. “Made for Fashion” invites young and emerging talents to showcase what fashion creativity means to them.

“Under Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is rapidly establishing itself as one of the most dynamic creative markets on the global stage,” said Stefania Valenti, global managing director of Istituto Marangoni. “A generation of young designers is emerging, redefining aesthetics, identity and craftsmanship in innovative and original ways. The scholarship launched by Istituto Marangoni Riyadh and WWD aims to support the most visionary talents, those who will shape the future of fashion.”

As part of the contest’s application, prospective students will select an example of creativity in fashion and explain why it resonates with them. The initiative will allow applicants to choose from the categories of fashion design, fashion business, fashion communication and image — presented in one to two images alongside a brief explanation.
