President Bola Tinubu has promised that the ongoing provision of clean water by the Federal Capital Territory Administration would be extended to all the area councils in the territory.
Tinubu, represented by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, gave the assurance while inaugurating the newly constructed Bwari Water Supply Network in Bwari Area Council on Tuesday.
He said that for years, residents of Bwari, Ushafa and surrounding communities had relied on water from untreated boreholes and streams.
He said the inauguration of the water supply project was in fulfilment of his administration’s promise under the Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as “not merely a slogan but a contract.”
