The police seized 25 kg of ganja and arrested two persons at Periyakattupalayam near Cuddalore on Monday.Following a tip-off, a police team was conducting checks at Periyakattupalayam when they noticed the suspects S. Divakaran, 19, and M. Siva, 18, of Tenkasi district and accosted them.Police claimed during interrogation, they found that the duo had smuggled ganja from Odisha to sell in retail to individuals in Cuddalore. The police seized 25 kg of ganja from their possession. They were produced before a local court and remanded in custody.A case has been registered. Published - July 14, 2026 08:21 pm IST
