Dubai Humanitarian has sent 72.5 tonnes of aid to Uganda in its fourth shipment supporting the Ebola outbreak response.

Relief supplies include water purification tablets, mobile storage units, generators, and tarpaulins for patients and medical teams.

Aid is destined for communities in DR Congo, across the border from Uganda, affected by the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola.

The outbreak was announced on 15 May but went undetected for weeks prior, complicating containment efforts.
