Apple Arcade is scoring a major hit game in August. Apple announced today that the subscription game service will add Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition on August 6. The new game will arrive just before the new NFL pre-season kicks off.
Apple says the new Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition title is designed just for Apple Arcade. Apple Arcade games have no ads and no in-app purchases.
“Designed specifically for Apple Arcade, this all-new release in the massively popular franchise lets fans live out their gridiron dreams, offering an immersive season-based experience featuring current NFL teams and realistic simulation gameplay,” according to Apple.
“Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition delivers the pure football experience players seek, a complete Madden NFL game free from ads or in-app purchases.”
Apple says the new game will support game controllers on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
