The mortal remains of the three victims from Tiruchi district who died in the boat capsize near Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam on July 11 were brought to the city on Tuesday evening.According to sources, the bodies of N. Balaji, 44, of Thiruvanaikovil, A.M. Sheikh Abdullah, 56, of Bheema Nagar, and S. Alagurajan, 38, of Crawford were identified and repatriated to India. The bodies were flown from Vietnam to Mumbai and later transported to Coimbatore by air before being brought by road to Tiruchi.The funeral of Sheikh Abdullah was held late on Tuesday. Alagurajan’s body was taken by ambulance to Madurai, where the funeral is scheduled to be held on Wednesday. Balaji’s final rites are to be performed in Tiruchi early on Wednesday.The three had travelled to Vietnam as part of an incentive tour organised by Lava Mobiles.
