Thales, Airbus Defence and Space, Destinus, MBDA Deutschland and Safran Electronics & Defense signed a Letter of Intent in Paris to establish the industrial partnership called Bliksem EXO Consortium.
The programme aims to create an upper-layer missile defence capability that can detect, track and destroy ballistic missile threats above the atmosphere during the midcourse phase of flight.
