Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
(NYSE:GS) stock rose in premarket trading Tuesday after the investment bank reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 results that topped Wall Street estimates on stronger investment banking and trading revenue.
The firm reported earnings of $20.98 per share, well above the analyst consensus estimate of $14.40.
Net revenue increased 39% year over year to $20.34 billion, beating the consensus estimate of $16.13 billion, driven by strength in its Global Banking & Markets business.
Net interest income rose to $3.95 billion from $3.10 billion a year earlier.
