Netflix's Wednesday will feature werewolves playing major roles in the upcoming third season.13:16, 14 Jul 2026Wednesday Season 3 will venture beyond Nevermore Academy after Edith Sinclair went on the run.‌Wednesday fans are eager for the Netflix hit to return with Season 3 after it was confirmed the series would explore new locations.‌The hit series, which is part of the Addams Family universe, is expected to feature exciting new characters and welcome back fan-favorites.‌Wednesday's (played by Jenna Ortega) best friend Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) and her mentor Isadora Capri (Billie Piper) will be reprising their roles as werewolves as they take the spotlight.Music director Isadora was introduced in Season 2 as a hybrid, as one of her parents is a werewolf, while the other is a Hyde like Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan).Another revelation in Season 2 was that Enid was an Alpha werewolf who could transform even without a full moon.‌As an Alpha, she is more powerful than she realises, but it is also an extremely dangerous trait to carry as she risks being permanently stuck in her wolf form if she changes during a full moon.In Season 3, Isadora is likely to be taking care of Tyler as a potential new master after she offered him the opportunity to join a safe haven for Hydes, where he can be part of a pack.‌Tyler lost his mother following a huge fight at the end of Season 2, when she fell from a roof to her death, and Season 3 will see Isadora become his new protector.Executive producer Miles Millar previously opened up on Capri's confusing intentions, saying: "Does Capri have ulterior motives or is she altruistic?"Why is she making this offer to Tyler? You don't quite know who she is or where her allegiance lies."‌Questions could be raised on her true identity and whether she, like Enid, is an Alpha.Meanwhile, Enid is expected to play a significant role in Season 3 after she ran away into the woods, with Agnes DeMille (Evie Templeton) on the hunt for her.‌Wednesday and Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) were also seen leaving Nevermore behind to track Enid down, with their journey taking them to Paris.Actress Myers said she had no clue that her character would be stuck as a werewolf at the end of Season 2, telling Cinemablend: "I had no clue until, like, a week before, because they didn't give us [the] Episode 8 script until we started shooting Episode 8."They like to keep us all out. We have no idea what's happening. So, no, it didn't affect me going into it. But I think it makes sense for her. I think Enid is so selfless, and I think she'd rather give up her humanity to save the people she loves than watch somebody die. So I think it makes sense for her."Article continues belowSeason 3 is likely to see Enid either embrace her new identity or let it lead to her downfall.Wednesday Season 3 will air on Netflix
