Charly Triballeau / AFP via Getty ImagesJuly 14, 2026 7:00 am EDT Updated With the 2026 World Cup in its final week, fans will soon have a chance to own notable match balls, autographed jerseys and even memorabilia from the first World Cup final halftime show.Christie’s Auction House and Global Citizen have announced “One Goal: An Auction to Benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund,” an online sale that will run from July 22 to 29 on the Christie’s website. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and soccer for children in underserved communities, supporting grassroots programs across 200 countries.

Items up for sale include jerseys signed by Lionel Messi, Santiago Gimenez and the U.S. men’s national team; an outfit worn by Shakira in the video for “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 World Cup; a ball that will be used in the World Cup final July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey; balls used in the opening games in Canada, the United States and Mexico; and an outfit Shakira will wear during her performance at the final halftime show.Shakira will be joined by Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, Coldplay, as well as characters from The Muppets and Sesame Street during the final’s 11-minute halftime show. A ball with the names of all the halftime performers handwritten by Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin will also be auctioned, as well as one autographed by Shakira, Kaka and FIFA president Gianni Infantino.The World Cup semifinals take place Tuesday between France and Spain at AT&T Stadium in Dallas (3 p.m. ET) and Wednesday between England and Argentina at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (3 p.m. ET).
