What's the storyThe Supreme Court of India has imposed a fine of ₹10L on comedian Samay Raina, alleging that he made false statements before the court and failed to comply with its previous orders in connection with the India's Got Latent controversy.
A bench comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi, and Justice J.V. Mohana directed Raina on Tuesday to deposit the amount within two weeks, warning that coercive action would be initiated if he failed to do so.
