Credit: AFP/BASHAR TALEBAn Israeli strike and gunfire killed at least two Palestinians, including a 10-year-old boy, and wounded several others in the southern and central Gaza Strip, Palestinian health officials said.The deaths bring the toll to 1,109 Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks since an October cease-fire between Israel and Hamas took effect, 3,578 have been wounded and approximately 800 bodies have been recovered, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.Medics said Muataz Abu Shaar, 10, was killed on Tuesday by Israeli gunfire in the Muwasi area west of Rafah, in the south of the Strip. Another child was reportedly wounded by gunfire in nearby in Khan Yunis, where an Israeli airstrike killed a 36-year-old man and left three people wounded, medics added.Medics also reported that several people were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli drone strike targeting a police post in the Al-Faluja area of the Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza. The fatalities reportedly include police officers and civilians who were there to receive services, while several women at the scene were also reportedly wounded.The IDF said it had struck a terrorist in the location, and that it was checking collateral damage.Meanwhile, reports said drone strikes hit residential homes and tents of displaced people in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City. The latter had stabbed another Israeli soldier and was subsequently shot by troops.
