Former Udinese goalkeeper Gigi Turci has said Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye still has technical aspects of his game to improve despite establishing himself as the Serie A club’s first-choice goalkeeper, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Okoye recently reported for pre-season training with Udinese ahead of the 2026/27 season after an impressive campaign in which he produced a series of crucial saves and kept 10 clean sheets to help the club secure important results in Serie A.
However, Turci believes the Nigerian international still has work to do.
Speaking to Messaggero Veneto, the former goalkeeper praised Okoye’s physical qualities but insisted his technique remains a work in progress.
