The Yobe State Government has assured residents of the state that sitting Governor Mai Mala Buni will complete all ongoing projects across the state before the expiration of his administration.
This revelation came to the fore as part of efforts to consolidate the development strides recorded since assuming office in 2019.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr Mohammed Goje, disclosed this during an interview with Arewa PUNCH, while outlining the administration’s priorities as it enters the final phase of its tenure.
Goje said the Buni administration remained committed to delivering all major projects currently under construction, noting that the government was focused on completing existing projects rather than initiating programmes that could be abandoned by subsequent administrations.
According to him, Governor Buni had consistently directed ministries, departments and agencies handling various projects to ensure strict adherence to implementation timelines and quality standards to guarantee timely delivery.
