He has been recognized multiple times by StarMine Financial Times as the #1 earnings estimator and #1 stock picker in his coverage universe. His research has been featured by leading outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and CNBC. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, Shmois served as Managing Director at Loop Capital Markets, where he was the Industrials sector head and led coverage of construction materials and building materials companies. Earlier in his career, he held senior research roles at Longbow Securities and National City Bank.
