Greek entrepreneurship can work wonders. There are many successful examples of companies that endured the country’s debt crisis and pursued a path of extroversion and exports.
The state has become much friendlier towards business, but even so, the cost of energy, bureaucracy and corruption make life difficult for anyone who wants to invest. What always scares investors, of course, is the risk of instability and political uncertainty, which can easily undermine confidence in the country.
For this, an effort is needed from the government to continue on the path of reforms and from the opposition to avoid the extreme populism that revives fears of a Greece that we have supposedly left behind.
