APTransco Joint Managing Director G. Surya Sai Praveenchand on Monday clarified that July 20, 2026, remains the last date for submitting online applications for recruitment to Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) posts in the State power utilities, dismissing rumours that the deadline had been extended.In a press release, Mr. Praveenchand said there had been an overwhelming response to the recruitment notification issued on June 25, 2026, to fill 629 AEE posts. He urged candidates not to believe rumours circulating on social media and other unauthorised platforms claiming that the last date for submission of applications had been changed.He said the online application process was continuing as per the notified schedule and that the computer-based test would commence on August 22, 2026, with no change in the examination dates.Mr. Praveenchand added that all official information relating to the recruitment process would be uploaded only on the respective official websites.
