The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), Serilingampally Zone, and Amazon India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish five ‘Gig Workers Rest Stop Porta Cabins’ under Amazon India’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.The five areasThe proposed Rest Stops, to be developed under Project Ashray, will be set up at Kondapur, Tellapur, Patancheru, Bharathi Nagar and Chandanagar. The facilities are aimed at providing gig workers with safe and accessible spaces to rest during their working hours.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Special Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Jayesh Ranjan, and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana, along with the Zonal Commissioner, Serilingampally
