DP Kithure Kindiki speaks at Kaptagat in Uasin Gishu County [DPPS]
A man caused a brief security scare after rushing toward Deputy President Kithure Kindiki during the Kaptagat Integrated Conservation Programme in Uasin Gishu County.
In a video seen by TNX Africa, Kindiki was addressing the gathering when the man attempted to approach him.
Within seconds, the Deputy President's security team tackled the individual and escorted him away from the podium.
Dressed in a pink cap, a striped shirt and a jungle green half-coat, Kindiki turned to the crowd, who had begun shouting following the incident. Smiling, he urged everyone to remain calm and said he would meet the man after the event.
