Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about his biggest fear, saying he worries about not knowing the right time to step away from music.

In a video interview that first surfaced in 2024 and has recently resurfaced online, the singer said one of his greatest fears is seeing successful and celebrated figures struggle to cope after falling out of the spotlight.

Davido said if given the opportunity, he would establish a therapy centre dedicated to supporting celebrities and public figures who have experienced a decline in fame and influence.

“If there is one thing I could build, I would build a therapy centre for people who were popular and very successful people.

“Because it is crazy to be on top of the world and the next moment you are not,” he said.
