A trust linked to Famous Brands founding-family member and non-executive director Nicolaos Halamandaris has sold more than R2.1 million in Famous Brands shares in three transactions this month.
JSE disclosures show the Panis Trust, of which Halamandaris is a non-controlling trustee and beneficiary, sold 28,294 shares on the market on July 2 at R61.8803 each, in a transaction worth R1.75 million.
The following day, the trust sold another 4,184 shares at R61.50 each for R257,316. A further 1,589 shares were sold on July 6 at R61.50 each, taking the value of the three July disposals to about R2.1 million.
In total, the trust sold 34,067 Famous Brands shares across the three transactions.
