After weeks of dramatic recouplings, Casa Amor heartbreaks, surprise bombshells and viral moments, "Love Island USA" Season 8 has officially crowned its winning couple.
Bryce Alakai and Trinity Tatum walked away with the title after receiving the most votes from the public during the finale of the Peacock reality show on Sunday, July 12. The pair also took home the $100,000 (about R1.8 million) cash prize, which they chose to split.
The couple beat fellow finalists:
"I didn't think it was going to be us. Honestly, I was expecting other people," said Trinity. Bryce added, "You just never know, I feel like. It was like... I don't know, I was like super shocked."
The couple already have a date planned to go surfing together in Los Angeles and reflected on their relationship's growth.
