Field tactical exercises Dragoon Fury 26, which involve Lithuania's Grand Duke Butigeidis Dragoon Battalion’, begin on Monday in Kazlų Rūda.
The military said the drills, which will run at the Brigadier General Kazys Veverskis training ground until July 23, will assess the readiness of battalion platoons to conduct tactical marches, movement to contact and defensive operations.
The exercises will also test advanced command and control technologies, as well as the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and anti-drone systems in tactical operations.
Personnel from the National Defence Volunteer Forces and members of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union will participate alongside soldiers from the Dragoon Battalion.
