U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the death of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, one of his staunchest allies, calling him one of the greatest people he had ever known.
The American leader wrote this on Truth Social, Ukrinform reports.
"Senator Lindsey Graham, one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known, is dead! He was always working, and was a true American Patriot. Lindsey will be greatly missed!!!," Trump wrote.
He added that details and information about Senator Graham’s burial would be announced later.
"So sad," the U.S. president noted.
