This is a really sad situation. The woman, aged in her 40s, was struck by a purple CAT bus around 7am. She was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with critical injuries. 9.37am on Jul 13, 2026Investigations underway after Perth man dies in Bali detention centre By Investigations are continuing into how a Perth man died while in custody in Bali on Friday. Cameron Hughes, 39, was reportedly taken to an immigration detention centre on Friday, accused of breaching his Visa conditions after separating from his wife. Cameron Hughes.Hughes has lived in Indonesia for more than 15 years, and shared an eight-year-old son with his former partner. 9 News Perth reported he was taken into custody on Friday and hours later was found unconscious and unresponsive in a bathroom.
