Mark Cuban became a regular on "Shark Tank" in season 3, before leaving the show after the 16th season. During his time on the investment show, Cuban invested over $20 million of his own money in more than 85 deals.

A 2022 interview with Cuban highlighted his worst investment from the show and provided details on returns on investment being less than most viewers would expect.

Appearing on the Full Send Podcast in July 2022, Cuban said he has not made back the $20 million he has invested in 85 startups on Shark Tank.
