Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, has urged residents to embrace unity, cooperation and shared responsibility in support of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s development agenda.
He said sustainable development could only be achieved when government and citizens work together.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, Idahosa made the appeal at a thanksgiving service held in honour of the late mother of the Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Jerry Uwangue.
The thanksgiving service was attended by government officials, political leaders, clerics, family members, friends and other well-wishers, who gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of the deceased.
