Russian forces launched more than 40 drone and artillery attacks across four districts of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region on July 12, leaving five people injured.

According to Ukrinform, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha reported the attacks on Telegram.

"Five people were injured. The enemy attacked four districts of the region more than 40 times with drones and artillery," Hanzha said.

In the Nikopol district, Russian forces targeted the city of Nikopol as well as the Marhanets, Pokrovske, and Chervonohryhorivka communities. The attacks damaged infrastructure, apartment buildings, private homes, outbuildings, and a shop, while one garage was destroyed.

In addition to the four people reported injured earlier in the day, a 69-year-old woman was also wounded. She will receive outpatient medical treatment.
