In Spain, civil guard officers searching for survivors of a deadly wildfire in the Almeria region have told how they discovered a British couple in a critical condition in a ravine. The pair, who were semi-conscious despite being badly burnt, are now being treated in hospital.
At least 12 people, believed to be mainly British or Belgian nationals are believed to have died in the fire and DNA tests to confirm their identities continue in Madrid.
