President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed pressing challenges facing Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs with Minister Ihor Klymenko.
The President announced the meeting on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"A report from Ihor Klymenko. I am personally grateful to Ihor and to everyone in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine who truly works around the clock to protect our country and its people. It is important that in all our communities, first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are always ready and on the scene, that everything necessary is being done to protect lives, that units of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are being properly supplied, and that the Ukrainian state is combating crime. There are, of course, problems, and this work is not easy, but the results achieved by Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs during the full-scale war have been significant. We discussed the pressing challenges that require a response from our state," Zelensky wrote.
According to the President, the meeting also focused on additional decisions and resources that could help accomplish the ministry's key objectives.
