A man has been arrested after a woman was killed and another man was hospitalised following an alleged double stabbing in west London. Police were called to a property on Uxbridge Road in Hayes about 8am on Sunday. Officers discovered a 24-year-old woman with stab injuries, and despite the efforts of first responders she was pronounced dead at the scene.A man in his 20s was found outside the property with stab injuries. The Metropolitan Police said it was awaiting an update on his condition. A 44-year-old man matching the suspect's description was located nearby and arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place. He was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be caused after jumping from a window. Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo said the 'shocking' incident had resulted in one woman losing her life and another man being hospitalised.
