The race for the 2026 FIFA World Cup title is down to four teams after Morocco, Switzerland, Belgium and Norway were eliminated in the quarter-finals, leaving France, Spain, England and Argentina as the remaining contenders.
According to the BBC, the semi-finals will, for the first time in World Cup history, feature the four highest-ranked men's national teams in the FIFA rankings: France (1), Argentina (2), Spain (3) and England (4).
England secured their place in the last four with a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over Norway at Miami Stadium. Jude Bellingham starred once again, scoring twice to overturn Norway's early lead and take his tally to six goals in six World Cup matches.
The match was not without controversy.
