An inquiry into the death of Anele Tembe, who tragically fell from a hotel in Cape Town, begins next week with six witnesses set to testify, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding her demise.

Six witnesses are set to testify at the Cape Town Magistrate's Court next week as the inquiry into Anele Tembe’s death commences. The witnesses have been subpoenaed to provide vital testimony that will illuminate the circumstances surrounding her tragic fall.

The inquiry has been set down for three days from July 13-15. Tembe, the daughter of businessman Moses Tembe, fell from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town on April 11, 2021.

The tragedy marked the beginning of an agonising chapter for the family, which included allegations that the late rapper, Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, who was in the hotel room with her at the time, was involved in her demise.

Tembe, 22, and AKA were engaged at the time.
