Flanked by wife Victoria and three of their children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, David, 51, had his fist in the air.He captioned the snap with: "What a moment in Miami , I'm so proud of the team tonight reaching the Semi final of the World Cup and to celebrate with my family was so special... Thank you @england for giving our country these moments."Despite the celebrations it was impossible to avoid the absence of their eldest son Brooklyn who has been estranged from his family since his bombshell statement in January where he slammed his famous parents.To make matters worse, last month Brooklyn joked about the feud in an American advert for food delivery company, DoorDash. The ad shows Brooklyn walking through his house and turns to the camera to say: "You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… it's a long story."Holding a handful of tickets in his hand, he adds: "These can go to someone...else." He is then seen giving the tickets to a DoorDash employee before saying: "Hey, put them somewhere fun!"The ongoing saga didn't see to dampen spirits yesterday. At one point during the match, David was seen jumping out of his seat and punching his fist in the air after England scored against Norway.Although the drama of live sport played out in David's emotions. At one point he held his head in his hands after Norway equalized with a goal. And earlier in the match the tense atmosphere was clearly getting to him as he was snapped holding his fist against his mouth.Victoria was on hand to comfort him as she was pictured lovingly hugging him at one point in the game. High up in the Miami stadium, the backdrop of their snap showed the England squad in the background as well as the huge crowd.And fans wasted no time in rushing to the comment section of David's Instagram. One said: "One of the best things about this game was having you there."Another added: "It was a tough game, but you guys made it." "Such a lovely moment to share as a family," said a third.In another post David simply said: "Brilliant from the lads." The former England footballer, who was recently knighted by King Charles, led the tributes to the England player.Following his post, presenter Piers Morgan described England's manager Thomas Tuchel as a "natural-born winner who refuses to accept anything but the best."This was followed by Prince William who wrote: "Well done England! Top performance in a tough environment. This is a special team. Commiserations to a proud Norway team. Onto the semi final... Never in doubt! W."Earlier this week David showed his support to the England team watching them train in Miami with sons Romeo and Cruz before offering hugs of support and words of advice.The former England footballer - who owns Inter Miami CF - visited the team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The aspiring chef also failed to publicly acknowledge his sister's 15th birthday on Friday while the rest of the family posted heartfelt messages.The family were recently seen in London to watch Cruz and his band The Breakers perform.
