Police cars and fire trucks were also on site, NBC reported.Graham's early life, career, and entrance into politicsGraham was born in 1955 in Central, South Carolina, where his parents ran a restaurant and a pool hall, according to Graham's official website. He was the first member of his family to earn an undergraduate degree.In 1995, Graham joined the US Air Force Reserves. During American military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, Graham put his experience in military law to use, according to his official website.Graham retired from the Air Force Reserves in June 2015, having served his country in uniform for 33 years, the website added.
