The Prince of Wales was among the first to congratulate England as they stormed into the World Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 triumph against Norway. Prince William hailed the 'special team' - as he said the result was 'never in doubt'. He also extended his commiserations to Norway who had produced their best ever finish at a World Cup.There were ecstatic scenes both in the stadium and at fan zones across the country when Jude Bellingham scored his second goal of the match in extra time. They will now take on the winners of Argentina against Switzerland at 8pm on Wednesday. William posted on X: 'Well done England! Top performance in a tough environment.'This is a special team. He said: 'I am not happy with the performance.'We made life very difficult for ourselves. We were sloppy, repetitive. We were lucky today.'This is pure mentality.
