It is coming sooner than you think.This easy Bamba-flavored ice cream cake is built for summer vacation: quick to assemble, kid-friendly and ready to wait in the freezer until everyone needs something cold, sweet and comforting.Bamba-flavored ice cream cake (Photo: Daniel Lila )IngredientsFor the ice cream:1 container vanilla ice cream, 1.33 liters1 bag, 30 grams, red peanut snack4-5 peanut snacks, such as Bamba, crumbledFor the base100 grams butter, at room temperature150 grams biscuits50 grams peanut snack2 tablespoons powdered sugarPreparationRemove the ice cream from the freezer 20-30 minutes in advance to soften. Soften the butter for the base as well.Prepare the base: Place the butter, biscuits, peanut snack and powdered sugar in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Line a 25x25 cm pan with plastic wrap, leaving extra wrap hanging over the sides. Transfer the mixture to the pan, spread it evenly and press it firmly into the bottom.Prepare the ice cream layer: Spoon generous scoops of the softened ice cream over the base. Place pieces of the red peanut snack between the scoops of ice cream, keeping a few aside to scatter over the top. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface. Scatter the reserved red peanut snacks over the ice cream and crumble the Bamba-style peanut snacks on top.Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours.
