The Srinivas Young Men’s Association (SYMA) organised an educational aid programme and gave away cash prizes to students here on Saturday.The association honoured social worker I. Manavalan at the event. He was presented with the SYMA Seva Award for his contributions to society by teaching underprivileged students, T. J. Ramani, the president of SYMA, said.SYMA distributed cash awards worth over ₹2 lakh to 30 students of class 10 and class 12, who had scored over 450 marks in the public examination, according to a press release.The organisation also distributed educational aids worth ₹4.5 lakh to 50 students.Sandeep Somani, vice-president and company secretary, Prodapt Solutions Pvt.
