Kate Ferdinand shared pictures of her celebrating her daughter's third birthday while at Disneyland Paris as Rio spends time in America for the World Cup16:48, 11 Jul 2026Kate Ferdinand was all smiles as she enjoyed a day out at Disneyland Paris with her children to celebrate her daughter's third birthday.The former TOWIE star, 35, who shares two children with former premiere league player Rio Ferdinand, shared a series of pictures on social media, giving fans an insight to her solo trip away as Rio is in America for the World Cup.Rio, who married Kate in 2019, has been working in America for the football competition, leaving Kate to take care of the family, in Dubai. Kate is step-mum to sons Lorenz, 20, and Tate, 19, and stepdaughter Tia, 15. Taking to her Instagram last week the star shared a series of pictures which showed her trip with her youngest daughter.In one snap, Kate is seen sporting her washboard stomach in a polka dot top while standing next to Mickey Mouse. In another picture, her children are seen enjoying a show by the Genie from Aladdin, as well as Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.She captioned the post saying: "My baby girl Shae Shae turned 3 today, and we spent the day at @Disneylandparis celebrating."She added: "The most magical day ever! I have some very, very tired but happy children going to bed tonight."She also added to tat and said: "My crazy, funny, sassy, boisterous, strong-willed 3-year-old princess Shae Shae. To think this time 3 years ago you were in NICU, now look at you."It wasn't so long ago that both Kate ad Rio were facing a difficult period as their daughter was in specialist care just minutes after she was born in 2021. At the time, their daughter was born with congenital pneumonia.Article continues belowCongenital pneumonia may cause respiratory upset within 24 hours and it can also be caused by an foetal fluid infection. At the tine Kate said: "I've given birth, no one's here, how guilty do I feel watching Love Island and my baby is in NICU."But after seeing her daughter, she added: "'I was hysterical. I couldn't pick her up. I didn't really want to be there. It was harder being next to her and not being able to be with her and just stare at her not being well than being away from her. Then I had terrible guilt about not wanting to be there. Mum guilt hit me from the very minute she was born." After five days, Kate and her daughter Shae were allowed home.Like this story?
