Proposed merger of two Ontario colleges sparks grievances by unions seeking delay

Staff and faculty unions have filed at least six grievances against Fleming and St. Lawrence colleges in relation to their upcoming merger, asking that it be put on hold.

Three grievances were launched by Ontario Public Service Employees’ Union locals against Fleming in Peterborough, and it is believed at least the same number by the locals at Kingston-based St. Lawrence.
