On the night of July 11, 12 missiles were launched, half of which were ballistic, and Ukrainian defenders were unable to intercept them.

According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Telegram.

“Over the course of the night, Russia launched more than 120 drones and 12 missiles, half of them ballistic. Our defenders managed to shoot down most of the targets – but not the ballistic ones,” Zelensky wrote.

He noted that 11 people were wounded in Kyiv as a result of the attack, including a child.

“Civilian infrastructure was hit even before the air raid alert was issued. Emergency crews are working at the sites of the strikes – apartment buildings, offices, and a theological seminary were damaged in the capital,” the president emphasized.
