Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, has commended President Bola Tinubu, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, security agencies and the Nigeria Union of Teachers for the successful rescue of the schoolchildren and teachers abducted in Oyo State.
The governor described the operation as a major victory for the country, saying it demonstrated the commitment of governments at all levels and security agencies to safeguarding the lives of Nigerians.
In a statement issued on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ahmed Idris, the governor praised the coordinated efforts that led to the victims’ safe rescue.
“I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the security agencies for their tireless efforts in ensuring that the children and their teachers were rescued alive. This achievement is a testament to the commitment of the government and our security personnel to protecting the lives of Nigerians,” Idris said.
