BAGUIO CITY— The city has recorded 41 confirmed Covid-19 cases since the start of 2026, with infections increasing since May, but Mayor Benjamin Magalong assured residents that the situation remains under control.
In a statement on Saturday, July 11, Magalong said the reported infections have all been mild and that there is “no cause for alarm.”
He noted that most of the confirmed cases involve healthcare workers and hospital personnel rather than the general public.
