Refining runs in South Korea, a key Asian refining hub, have recovered to prewar levels as refiners seek to capitalize on strong refined product export margins. Japanese runs are experiencing some recovery but not to South Korea's levels, in part due to maintenance.

With the US and Iran launching attacks in the Mideast, some refineries may ramp up runs more slowly or hold off on raising runs, possibly through early August.
